Krisztina Fejes performs a vast repertoire of works from J.S.Bach, Scarlatti, Beethoven, Chopin, Schumann, Brahms, Saint Saens, Albéniz, Ravel and Debussy to contemporary music. Herself a native Hungarian, she is keenly attracted to the repertoire of Franz Liszt and Béla Bartók. Ms. Fejes often performs Liszt’s Sonata in B Minor, Ravel Piano Concerto for left hand and Totentanz as well as Beethoven piano sonatas, concertos and Bartók pieces.
She is endowed with a dynamic, temperamental and evocative style of playing. The variety of the sound, the fantasy of the phrasing and the musical breath what she has. She sends musical values toward the audience and to project the sound and the musical message all over the concert hall. Her skill to go deeply inside of musical interpretation allows her to build a very touching musical atmosphere, warmly recommended everywhere on the world.
In 2016/2017, she performed various concerts in Auditorio Nacional de Madrid in Spain, as well as during Beethoven Festival in Palermo, Italy. Furthermore, her recent season included solo tours and masterclasses in China and South America. As an invited artist from Europe she performed Liszt E flat major Piano Concerto with the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Colombia at Teatro Colón de Bogotá, during the European days.
